Our gelatateria in Varberg

Who are we?

We believe that genuine ingredients are the foundation for great products. Uvens gelato produces gelato in a traditional artisanal way from scratch. Our ambition is to continuously develop our recipes and adapt the flavors to the mood and season.


We are a small family business in Varberg. You can find us at Brukstorget, the exact location and opening hours can be found on Google Maps. Welcome!


What is special about Uvens gelato

We pride ourselves on making gelato from scratch with the best ingredients. We use unhomogenized milk, eggs, sugar and cream as a base and for flavoring we have generous amounts of real chocolate, nuts, fruits and berries etc.


We also offer a gelato-inspired dairy-free ice cream (based on oat milk) and premium sorbet. Our sorbets are based on pureed fruits or berries of the highest quality.

Serving perfection :)

Since gelato is denser than regular ice cream, it needs more time to soften before serving. Our gelato is perfect at -12°C.


The best way is to take it out of the freezer and put it in the refrigerator for about 45 minutes, a little less time for sorbet. Leave the lid on.


Gelato and sorbet should be smooth and easy to scoop!
